Time Dependent Tracers in the Black Sea:
Ray Weiss and I participated in the R/V Knorr 2003 Black Sea Expedition Leg 8. During this expedition we collected samples for the time-dependent tracers SF6, CFCs, tritium/helium in order to study the ventilation rates of this largely anoxic water body. The analysis of the SF6 and CFC samples has been completed and the data processing is now in progress.
