Site Facilities

Tamarside College is a large senior school on the edge of Plymouth. The school is on a hill overlooking the River Tamar on one side, and the town on the other. There are views of the Dartmoor hills in the distance to the north, and the sea to the south.

There is a large sports hall which will be used for hockey and two smaller gyms suitable for basketball and free-riding. Please ensure that all unicycles used in the gyms have plastic pedals and clean, non-marking tyres The floors are rather nice, and the school would rather they stayed that way.

There are two drama studios suitable for workshops, juggling and other circus skills. We plan to hold a show in one of these. There is also plenty of playground and grassy areas outside.

There is a small shop and pub, two minutes ride away, and larger shops approximately 10 minutes away from the college.

Please note that due to school rules no alcohol, smoking or animals are allowed on site
