This workgroup belongs to the Particle Chemistry Department, a joint department of the
Max-Planck-Instituts für Chemie and the
Johannes Gutenberg-University Mainz
(Institute for Atmospheric Physics).
The department was founded by
Prof. Dr. Stephan Borrmann
in 2001 as the "Cloudphysics and -chemistry Department". In July 2005 it merged with
the NAMIP Group and was renamed
to "Particle Chemistry".
