The Biogeochemistry Department of the Max Planck Institute for Chemistry is conducting research on the interactions between biosphere, atmosphere and human activities. We are using a system-oriented, multidisciplinary approach to study key aspects of Global Change, with an emphasis on the tropical regions. Our Department collaborates closely with the Atmospheric Chemistry Department.
